Luke Marsanskis to Compete in NCAA XC Championship on Saturday

BOSTON – Maine graduate student Luke Marsanskis makes his debut at the NCAA Championships this Saturday as he races against the nation’s best in Wisconsin.
 
Saturday’s championship begins at 11:10 a.m. and will be shown live on ESPNU, as well as ESPN+.
 
Marsanskis punched his ticket to the National Championship meet with a seventh place finish at Regionals on Nov. 3 with a time of 30:07.5 in the 10k race. He also won the America East Championship with a time of 23:51.8 on an 8k course.
 
He is the first America East men’s runner to reach the NCAA XC National Championship since 2019, when UMass Lowell’s Chris Alfond and Ben Drezek both competed. He’s the first Black Bear to make it since 2013.
