#AEFH Week 9: UAlbany Claims Top Seed, Share of Regular Season Title

BOSTON – No. 14 UAlbany captured at least a share of its second straight #AEFH Regular Season Title on Friday and secured the top overall seed in the upcoming #AEFH Tournament with a 2-1 victory over Maine.

The Great Danes have earned the right to host the Tournament for the first time since 2014, while New Hampshire secured the No. 2 seed with its 4-0 shutout against UMass Lowell. If UAlbany falls to Vermont on Friday and UNH beats Maine the two programs would finish with matching 5-1 league marks, but the Great Danes won the head-to-head battle earlier this year.
