#AEFH Week 8: Great Danes Take Sole Possession of First

BOSTON – No. 14 UAlbany grabbed control of first place in the #AEFH Standings last weekend with a 3-2 overtime victory against New Hampshire on Friday. Elsewhere, Vermont and Bryant also came up with clutch wins.

The Wildcats built a 2-0, but the Great Danes tied it up with six remaining in the contest. Floor de Ruiter came through with the overtime winner as UAlbany improved to 4-0 in league play. The Great Danes need just one win in their final two conference contests to clinch at least a share of the regular season championship as well as the top overall seed and hosting duties in the conference tournament.
