Men's #AEHoops Is Back Thursday

BOSTON – Four undefeated teams remain following three dates of action and two of those four teams square off on Thursday as UMass Lowell travels to UAlbany in our game of the night.
 
All games during conference play can be found on ESPN+ or ESPN3 on the AE of ESPN Home Page in the United States. Fans located internationally can watch all the action on AmericaEast.TV.

Vermont (3-0 AE) at Binghamton (0-2 AE) – 6 PM
The Catamounts haven’t lost an #AEHoops contest in over a calendar year and look to keep the streak going on the road. Binghamton has dropped two straight but return home where they are 6-0 this season. In two league games, the Bearcats are ninth in scoring defense (86.0) and seventh in scoring offense (72.0).  Tymu Chenery leads the team in scoring (14.9) while Symir Torrence leads the team and conference in assists per game (7.2). UVM is sixth in scoring offense (72.7), but first in scoring defense (61.7) with three players in double figures. Matt Veretto is averaging 10.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game to anchor the team.
 
UMass Lowell (3-0 AE) at UAlbany (2-0 AE) – 7 PM
The River Hawks take to the road where they face a Great Danes squad which is 5-0 at home this season and scored over 90 points in each of its last three home games. UMass Lowell does rank third in league play in scoring (79.3) and fourth in defense (73.0), while UAlbany is first in scoring offense (87.0) and fifth in defense (74.0). Sebastian Thomas is averaging 26.0 points and 5.0 assists per game while Jonathan Beagle is putting up 10.0 point and 10.5 rebounds per game. In #AEHoops action, Max Brooks has filled the stat sheet with 17.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game. Brayden O’Connor is also averaging 17.3 points per game.
 
New Hampshire (1-2 AE) at NJIT (0-3 AE) – 7 PM
The Wildcats are coming off a 15-point loss to Bryant at home after two close games to begin conference action. The Highlanders are 0-3 with two of those loses by eight points or less, having played UAlbany, UML and UVM thus far. They are ninth in scoring offense (63.3) entering the week and sixth in defense (75.0), while New Hampshire is fourth in scoring (76.0), but eighth in defense (81.7). Tariq Francis has been consistent for NJIT, putting up 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in conference play, while Clarence Daniels is averaging 23.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
 
Maine (0-2 AE) at UMBC (0-3 AE) – 7 PM
One team will earn its first victory in conference play and both are coming off tight losses last week. UMBC lost 86-82 to UML and then 77-72 to UVM while Maine fell by five to UNH and 65-58 to UVM. The Black Bears are eighth in scoring offense (63.3) but third in scoring defense (72.0), whereas the Retrievers are fifth in scoring offense (73.7) and seventh in scoring defense (81.3). Dion Brown is averaging 20.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in #AEHoops action to pace UMBC. Kellen Tynes leads Maine with 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
