Seven America East Student-Athletes selected in NLL Draft

BOSTON – Over the weekend the https://www.nll.com/https://www.nll.com/ held its 2023 entry draft, with seven former America East student-athletes selected over the six rounds. Vermont led the way with four selections, while UAlbany had three.
 
Vermont’s four selections was tied for the most picks for any NCAA school. Brock Haley was the first #AEMLAX standout off the board as he was selected seventh overall by the Vancouver Warriors. Stone Jacobs was selected 59th by Philadelphia, while Colin Sharkey went 61stto Panther City. Tim Manning was the last Catamount picked, at 90th overall by Panther City.
 
UAlbany had three selections in the draft, led by Graydon Hogg. Hogg was taken in the first round, 15th pick overall by the Rochester Knighthawks. Jake Piseno was taken 35th overall by the Knighthawks as well, while Elijah Gash went to Panther City with the 46th selection.
 
The NLL was founded in 1986 and the box lacrosse league is currently comprised of 15 franchises across the United States and Canada: Albany FireWolves, Buffalo Bandits, Calgary Roughnecks, Colorado Mammoth, Georgia Swarm, Halifax Thunderbirds, Las Vegas Desert Dogs, New York Riptide, Panther City Lacrosse Club (Fort Worth, TX), Philadelphia Wings, Rochester Knighthawks, San Diego Seals, Saskatchewan Rush, Toronto Rock, and Vancouver Warriors.
