BOSTON, MA - Five #AEXC schools competed this week, with impressive finishes. UMass Lowell men’s team took 3rd in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, with two finishing in the top 5. Binghamton cross country competed in the Iona Meet of Champions and with the women’s and men’s team taking fourth and fifth respectively. Binghamton’s Josh Stone finished first out of a field of 84 runners to claim his first individual title. NJIT competed in the Jasper Fall Invitational in New York. Maine traveled to Indiana for the John McNichols Invitational with the men taking 5th. UAlbany women’s team won RPI’s Harvest Festival Invitational with three top-ten finishers, while the men took 3rd place overall.

Male Performer of the Week
Evan Thornton-Sherman, Maine - So., St. Johnsbury, VT
- Placed 10th out of 257 runners at the John McNichols Invitational at Indiana State
- Thornton-Sherman ran a personal best time of 24:30.2 with an average pace of 4:56 in the men’s 8k.
Female Performer of the Week
Megan Randall, Maine - R-Fr., Bangor, ME
- Helped lead the Black Bears to take 9th place overall with her 14th place finish out of a field of 182.
- Randall clocked in at 17:49 in the women’s 5k, which is a personal best.
