BOSTON, MA - A total of 5 #AEXC teams were in action this weekend. Bryant hosted the Nassaney Invitational while NJIT competed in the Fordham Fiasco, Vermont women competed in the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invite and UMBC competed at the Navy Cross Country Invitational.

#AEXC Weekly Award Winners - Sept. 11
Male Performer of the Week
John Murphy, New Hampshire
- Led the Wildcats in the Friar Invitational with a 13th place finish
- Murphy ran a 19:04.3 6k with an average pace of 5:06.9.
Female Performer of the Week
Sarah Van Ornum, NJIT - Fr., Stevensville, MD
- Finished second in the 5k at the Fordham Fiasco, running a time of 19:59.00
- With an average mile of 6:25.6, Van Ornum was just one of only two runners to run a sub-20 minute race.
- Van Ornum earns the Highlander's first ever #AEXC awards
