UVM, UNH & UAlbany Ranked in Top 150 of Final Directors' Cup Standings

BOSTON, Mass. – Following the conclusion of the 2022-23 academic year, Vermont, New Hampshire and UAlbany were all ranked in the top 150 of the final Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings.
 
The America East was one of three non-FBS conferences with two schools in the top 100 and three schools ranked in the top 150. UVM led all America East programs by finishing 91st overall, followed closed by UNH at 93rd while UAlbany was 144th. Overall, eight of nine America East programs earned at least 23 points in the final standings.

This marks the second straight year UVM has been in the top 100, after taking 82nd a year ago. The Catamounts were led by their men’s soccer program which advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals before falling to eventual national champion Syracuse 2-1. Men's and women's basketball also reached the NCAA Tournament.
 
The Wildcats had their best finish since 2017-18, when they placed 71st in the nation. UNH men’s soccer and football programs both advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
UAlbany had its highest finish since 2017-18, when the Great Danes placed 115th. This past year, both women’s lacrosse and field hockey earned NCAA First Round victories.
