America East Well Represented at 2023 World Lacrosse Championship

BOSTON, Mass. – The America East will have a great deal of representation at the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship, which gets underway in full force on Thursday, as 26 athletes and coaches with connections to the conference will compete for ten different nations over the next few weeks.
 
The Lacrosse Championship got underway on Wednesday night as defending champion USA edged Canada 7-5 in a hard-fought battle. Nine more games get underway with every contest on ESPN+. View the complete schedule.
 
UAlbany has 15 coaches and players competing to lead all America East programs. Head Coach Scott Mahr will serve as an assistant coach for the Haudenosaunee Nationals and will coach six current and former Great Danes. Blaze Riorden and TD Ierlan will playt for Team USA.
 
Stony Brook, Vermont, UMBC and UMass Lowell also have current and former student-athletes competing who will be representing Canada, France, Jamaica, Latvia and Puerto Rico.
