Gordon Earns Second Team All-America Honors

Austin, T.X. - Three #AETF athletes competed in the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships last week at the Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.  
 
Louis Gordon of UAlbany finishes his outdoor season with Second Team All-America accolades. Gordon competed in the long jump last Wednesday night. His jump of 25’ 6” earned him 11th place and a personal best mark. 
 
Also competing in the NCAA Championships was Aziza Chigatayeva from Binghamton. Chigatayeva capped her season with an impressive semifinal of the 3000 steeplechase on Thursday night, finishing 22nd with a time of 10:22.86. Her season closes with honorable mention All-America honors after an impressive season. 
 
UMass Lowell’s Kenzie Doyle also competed in the finals of the 10,000m race last Thursday night. Doyle ended her season with a time of 34:41.76. Her 17th place finish earns her honorable mention All-America honors.
