For the second-straight year, the #AEMLAX Championship is headed to Vermont's Virtue Field and it'll be Bryant, Binghamton, and UAlbany making the trip to Burlington. The seeds and matchups for the 2023 America East Men's Lacrosse Championship, which takes place May 4 & 6, were finalize up on Saturday.
Vermont had already secured the top seed and locked up its second-ever outright regular-season crown on Saturday completing its second-consecutive unbeaten league schedule.
The final seeds for the 2023 #AEMLAX Championship are:
- Vermont (7-0)
- Bryant (5-2)
- Binghamton (5-2)
- UAlbany (4-3)
Bryant dropped its regular season finale against Merrimack to conclude with a 5-2 record overall but earned the No. 2 seed over Binghamton due to the Bulldog's head-to-head victory. Binghamton, which is making its second-straight championship appearance, beat UAlbany on Saturday 15-14 to claim the No. 3 seed while the Great Danes fell to the No. 4 seed.
The tournament starts on Thursday with semifinal action. Vermont battles UAlbany in the first matchup at 4 p.m. while Bryant and Binghamton face off in the nightcap at 7 p.m.
The semifinal winners will go head-to-head for the 2023 conference championship on Saturday at 1 p.m. The game will be national televised on ESPNU.
