BOSTON – League play kicked off on Saturday and saw UAlbany, Binghamton, Bryant and Vermont earn wins in their league openers. Teams will vie for positioning the next six weeks to earn a top four spot in the league standings and qualify for the conference championship, which takes place May 4 & 6 at the No. 1 seed.
The preseason poll was announced on January 25.
Fans will once again be able to watch the majority of #AEMLAX this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.

Offensive Player of the Week
Brock Haley, Vermont – Sr., Attacker, Brooklin, Ont.
- Tallied eight points on four goals and four assists in win over NJIT.
- This is Haley’s second Offensive Player of the Week honor this season and of his career.
Defensive Player of the Week
Connor Winters, Binghamton - R-Fr., Goalkeeper, Webster, N.Y.
- Stopped 13 of 20 shots he faced in a win over Merrimack.
- Also scored a goal.
- This is Winters first career Defensive Player of the Week honor and first of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Johnny Hackett, Bryant – Fr., Attacker, Winnetka, Ill.
- Racked up eight points on seven goals and an assist in Bryant’s win over UMBC.
- This is Hacket’s fourth Rookie of the Week award already this season.
