BOSTON- UMass Lowell’s Izzy Giesing wrapped up her impressive indoor season at the NCAA Indoor Championships this weekend. Giesing finished 12th overall and 5th in her heat in the 800m with an impressive time of 2:06.72.

This was Giesing’s second year competing at the Indoor NCAA Championships, improving on her performance from last year’s trip to the NCAA Championship. The America East 800m Champion earned herself Second Team All-American status, being only the second athlete to achieve this in UMass Lowell’s history since competing at the Division I level.
