WORCESTER, Mass - The 2023 America East Swimming & Diving Championships returned to WPI on Wednesday with six events holding their finals.

Newcomer Bryant leads the way on the men's side with 113 points, closely followed by reigning champion's UMBC (111) and Binghamton (108).

New Hampshire put out a strong showing defending their title on the women's side, leading the pack with 111 points. Bryant proves to be the biggest challenger for the Wildcats on night one as it landed in second with 104 points. Binghamton rounds out the top 3 with their 84 amassed points.

How It Happened:

• UMBC freshman Anders Logas claimed the #AESD title in the men's 1 meter dive, narrowly edging out competitor Drew Arnold (Bryant) 283.20 to 283.10.
• The Wildcats' Ana O'Neil claimed her first-ever #AESD gold in the women's 3 meter dive with a score of 244.30.
• Vermont repeated as champions in the women's 800 free relay with a time of 7:23:72.
• Shaving just over four seconds off their winning time from last year, Binghamton's men's team reclaimed the 800 free relay in an #AEChamps record time of 6:30:57.
• In a photo finish, UNH's 1:41:38 narrowly edged out Bryant's 1:41:41 to claim the women's 200 medley relay.
• In an #AEChamps recording breaking performance, UMBC's men beat out Binghamton by a slim margin, 1:27:18 to 1:27:85, to repeat as the 200 free relay winners.
