Men's Basketball 2/20/2023 11:00:00 AM Men's #AEHoops Week 15: Vermont Secures Share of 7th-Straight Regular-Season Title BOSTON – For the seventh-straight year, Vermont has claimed at least a share of the America East men’s basketball regular-season crown. The Catamounts can secure the No. 1 seed for the #AEPlayoffs with its next win. Vermont has won at least a share of the regular-season title for the seventh-straight year. Only Gonzaga has a longer active streak (10). The Catamounts top the league standings at 11-2 are the first team to secure an home #AEPlayoffs game. UMass Lowell has won five of its last six games and sits in second place at 9-5. The River Hawks, who have scored 80 more points in their last three games, have won a Division I school-record 22 games. Binghamton (8-5), Bryant (7-6), UNH (7-6) and UMBC (7-7) follow in the standings and are fighting for a top four #AEPlayoffs seed. Maine's 11 wins are its most since the 2012-13 season.
