Binghamton's Ilieva Earns All-American Honors

BOSTON – The accolades continue to roll in for Binghamton senior Tsvetlina Ilieva, as she earn's an AVCA All-American Honorable Mention for the second year in a row.

Ilieva transferred to Binghamton for her junior season and in two-years with the Bearcats has earned back-to-back #AEVB Player of the Year, All-Region, and All-American honors. The senior also finished conference play atop the leaderboard in kills and points for the second year in a row, averaging 4.29 and 4.84 in 2022 and 4.49 and 4.96 in 2023. Ilieva was a starting outside hitter in all 26 matches for Binghamton this season and recorded double-digit kills in all but three contests.
