Complete List of All-Americans

KANSAS CITY, Mo. –
Maine women’s soccer junior forward Abby Kraemer has been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team, as announced by the organization on Friday afternoon.

Kraemer is the first United Soccer Coaches All-America selection in Maine’s history and the first for the conference since 2012. The junior had a banner season for the Black Bears in leading the program to an 11-2-6 record, their first-ever #AEWSOC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.

She was named the 2023 America East Striker of the Year and received America East All-Conference First Team honors after leading the league in points (30), points per game (1.76), goals (13), goals per game (0.72), shots (68) and shots per game (3.78). Kraemer continually ranked in the top 20 in the nation in those same categories.

Kraemer is the first #AEWSOC player to be a First or Second Team All-America selection since Meghan Cook from Boston U. was named to the Second Team in 2005. Maine is now just the fourth school to boast a women’s soccer All-American, joining Hartford, Boston U. and New Hampshire.
