BOSTON – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association has released its All-Region selections and the America East had 15 student-athletes receive recognition, as announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
Six different programs had at least one All-Region selection, led by Cal, New Hampshire and UAlbany with three apiece. The Great Danes and Wildcats each had a pair on the First Team, while Cal and Maine placed two on the Second Team.
2023 #AEFH Offensive Player of the Year Tasmin Cookman, Midfielder of the Year Alison Smisdom and Defender of the Year Alissia de Vries were all named to the First Team. Both Cookman and Smisdom are repeat First Team selections, along with Floor de Ruiter and Daniella Rhodes.
