BOSTON – UMBC took care of business on Sunday with a 3-0 victory over UAlbany to secure the outright #AEVB Championship after earning the No. 1 seed with its win on Friday. New Hampshire swept Binghamton on Sunday to clinch the No. 2 seed while the Bearcats and Bryant Bulldogs rounded out the four-team field.
UMBC finished the regular season with an 8-2 overall mark for their third regular season title in the past four seasons, while the Wildcats finished alone in second with a 7-3 mark. Binghamton and Bryant both had 6-4 records in #AEVB action and went 1-1 against each other during the regular season, but the Bearcats earned the tiebreak and No. 3 seed thanks to a 5-3 advantage in sets won in the matches between the two programs (W, 3-0; L, 2-3).
Semifinal action gets underway on Friday, Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. as UMBC hosts Bryant and the second match of the night begins at 8 pm with Binghamton against New Hampshire. The #AEVB Championship will be played Saturday at 6 p.m.

- Binghamton – Secured their second-straight #AEVB Tournament appearance.
- Bryant – Making their second tournament appearance in first two-years of #AEVB membership.
