#AEWSOC Week 8: Binghamton & Maine Remain Unbeaten

BOSTON – Binghamton and Maine stayed undefeated in conference play with a pair of 2-0 shutouts on Sunday, while Vermont won its second straight conference match and Bryant continued its resurgent season.

The Bearcats took down UMass Lowell 2-0, while Maine blanked NJIT 2-0. Bryant came away with a 2-0 win over UAlbany for its second #AEWSOC win after going winless in 2022. Vermont took down UMBC 3-0. Maine improved to 8-0-4 with the victory and is now one of just eight teams nationally which have yet to lose a contest this season.

This week features conference contests on Thursday and Sunday and multiple teams could clinch tournament berths by the end of the weekend. Vermont (2-2) has won two straight and hosts UNH (2-1-1) before traveling to take on unbeaten Binghamton (3-0-2). Maine (3-0-1) plays at UMass Lowell (1-2-1) Thursday before hosting Bryant (2-1-2) on Sunday. NJIT (1-2-1) also plays a pair of contests as the team hosts Bryant and travels to UNH.
