BOSTON – #17 UMass Lowell stretched its win streak to six with a pair of victories last week, while #18 UAlbany and New Hampshire also went unbeaten. The three teams are a combined 9-0 in #AEFH action through three weekends.
The River Hawks took down a pesky Vermont squad 2-1 on Friday and then outlasted Bucknell 3-2 on Sunday. New Hampshire earned victories over Bryant and Dartmouth this weekend, while UAlbany handed Maine its second conference loss, by a 3-1 margin.
In other conference action, California secured its first conference victory of the season by dispatching Stanford 5-1. The Golden Bears lost 4-3 two days later in a non-conference matchup between the two teams.
This weekend the River Hawks host California on Friday, before welcoming 4-0 UNH on Sunday in a battle for first place. UAlbany welcomes UC Davis on Friday and then Stanford on Sunday as the Great Danes look to improve to 5-0. Vermont hosts Stanford on Friday and then UC Davis on Sunday, while Bryant faces Maine and California.

- Finished with two goals and two assists in a 2-0 week.
- Tallied eventual game-winning goal in 3-2 win over Bryant and game-winning assist in 3-2 win over Dartmouth.
- This is Cookman’s second #AEFH Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.
Defensive Player of the Week
Alison Smisdom, UAlbany – Jr., M/D, Antwerp, Belgium
- Anchored Great Dane defense which allowed one goal in a 3-1 win over Maine.
- Added one goal and one assist in a win against the Black Bears.
- This is Smisdom’s second #AEFH Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.
Rookie of the Week
Star Horlock, Stanford – Fr., M/F, Salisbury, England
- Scored twice in a 1-1 week against California.
- Tallied both goals in the 2nd half of Sunday’s contest as Stanford came back to win 4-3 after trailing 3-1 at the half.
- This is Horlock’s first career #AEFH Rookie of the Week honor.
