Postseason Time! #AEWSOC Championship Bracket Set

BOSTON – An exciting #AEWSOC regular season turns the page to the conference championship after Binghamton claimed the regular-season title and five other teams claimed tournament berths.  The 2023 America East Women’s Soccer Championship bracket is set as the final seeds and matchups were finalized on Friday.
 
The championship commences on Monday with quarterfinal action. The final seeds for the 2023 America East Women’s Soccer Championship are:
 
    1. Binghamton – 3rd-ever regular-season title
    2. Maine – Best seed since 2005
    3. New Hampshire – Third-straight appearance since
    4. UMass Lowell – Fifth-straight appearance
    5. NJIT – Third-straight appearance
    6. Vermont – Back in the championship after a one-year absence

Binghamton secured its second-straight regular-season title with a 2-0 win at NJIT on Thursday. Maine locked up the #2 seed with a 0-0 tie vs. New Hampshire. That tie gave New Hampshire the #3 seed, while UMass Lowell’s 0-0 tie vs. Bryant gave it the #4 seed. NJIT is #5 while Vermont clinched the final bid and #6 seed with a 3-0 win over UAlbany.
 
The Wildcats and Catamounts in one quarterfinal while the River Hawks will host the Highlanders in the other. Both game will kick off at 6 p.m.
 
The winner of UMass Lowell-NJIT will visit #1 Binghamton in the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 2 and the UNH-Vermont winner will square off against #2 Maine in Orono. Both semifinals will start shortly after 6 p.m.

The semifinal winners will face off for the 2023 conference title at the higher remaining seed on Sunday, Nov. 5.
 
All games of the 2023 America East Women’s Soccer Championship will air on ESPN+ domestically and AmericaEast.TV internationally.
