#AEWSOC Week 9: Binghamton, Maine Clinch Postseason Bids

BOSTON – Just 10 days remain in the 2023 America East women’s soccer regular-season and the postseason picture is beginning to shape up. Binghamton and Maine became the first two teams to lock up #AEChamps bids with wins on Sunday.

The Bearcats blanked Vermont, 2-0, to maintain their hold on first place in the standings and qualified for the tournament for the fifth-straight season. The Black Bears sit just one point back in second place after beating Bryant, 2-0, and will return to the championship for the second-consecutive year.

Binghamton and Maine will meet in a crucial contest on Sunday Oct. 22 in Vestal, N.Y. which will go a long way to deciding the regular-season champion.
