BOSTON – New Hampshire pulled off the biggest win of the weekend, stunning #17 UMass Lowell at home 1-0 on a fourth quarter goal to improve to 5-0 in conference play. #18 UAlbany also stayed perfect and clinched a playoff spot with a pair of victories.
The Great Danes beat UC Davis 6-2 and then edged Stanford 1-0 to clinch a playoff berth, along with UNH who is also 5-0. Maine improved to 3-2 in conference play with a 3-2 win over Bryant while Vermont fell to Stanford but beat UC Davis 8-2.
This weekend first place will once again be on the line as UAlbany travels to UMass Lowell on Friday at 3 p.m. New Hampshire looks to improve to 6-0 in conference play when it hosts Maine, while Vermont travels to Bryant. Cal and UC Davis play Saturday in the final conference matchup of the weekend. UAlbany does host #3 North Carolina on Sunday in non-conference action.

Offensive Player of the Week
Daniella Rhodes, California – Gr., Forward, Durban, South Africa
- Finished with two goals in Cal’s win over Bryant.
- Scored both goals in the opening 20 minutes, while coming off the bench.
- This is Rhodes’ second #AEFH Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.
Defensive Player of the Week
Alison Smisdom, UAlbany – Jr., M/D, Antwerp, Belgium
- Scored three times and part of a defense which shut out Stanford to clinch a postseason berth in a 2-0 week.
- Tallied a hat trick, including the game-winner, in a 6-2 victory over UC Davis.
- Made an impressive defensive save to keep it scoreless against Stanford in the opening quarter as UAlbany eventually won 1-0.
- This is Smisdom’s third #AEFH Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.
Rookie of the Week
Axelle Werbrouck, UAlbany – Fr., M/F, Antwerpen, Belgium
- Scored twice in a 2-0 week to help UAlbany clinch a postseason berth.
- Had both of her goals in a 6-2 win over UC Davis, scoring on her only two shots. Added four shots in a 1-0 victory over Stanford.
- This is Werbrouck’s first career #AEFH Rookie of the Week honor.
