BOSTON – Eight of the conference’s nine programs came away with wins this past week and five own a record of .500 or better following the second week of action.
Over the next week, there will be 16 more non-conference contests, including six on AETV. No. 2 North Carolina travels to play California and Stanford, while New Hampshire travels to face No. 23 American and No. 3 Maryland in some of the biggest matchups of the week.
The preseason poll was announced on August 9.

Offensive Player of the Week
Maddie Moran, Vermont – R-Sr., Forward, Gardner, Mass.
- Tallied one goal and two assists in a 6-1 win over Merrimack.
- Totaled a career-best four points.
- This is Moran’s first #AEFH Offensive Player of the Week award.
Defensive Player of the Week
Eleonore Boekhorst, UMass Lowell – Jr., Goalkeeper, Bilthoven, The Netherlands
- Went 1-1 with a 1.50 GAA and .769 save percentage
- Made seven saves and allowed two goals over 80 minutes in 3-2 shootout loss to No. 22 UMass.
- Stopped three shots in a 2-1 victory over Wagner.
Rookie of the Week
Sophia Schoonmaker, UAlbany – Fr., Forward, Marbletown, N.Y.
- Scored twice in a 1-1 week on three shots.
- Scored against No. 11 Penn State.
- Tallied the game-winning goal in overtime against Fairfield.
