BOSTON – In the opening week of the 2022 #AEFH season, five teams came away with victories. New Hampshire highlighted the results with a perfect 2-0 mark while Stanford also started the year without a loss.
Over the next week, there will be 17 more non-conference contests, including four on ESPN+ and five more on AETV. UAlbany hosts No. 11 Penn State to highlight a strong slate of games.
The preseason poll was announced on August 9.

Offensive Player of the Week & Rookie of the Week
Tasmin Cookman, New Hampshire – Fr., Forward, Working, England
- Tallied four goals and a one assist in a pair of victories last week.
- Recorded one assist and the game-winning goal in a 3-1 win over Quinnipiac
- Scored three times in a 5-2 victory over Boston University.
Defensive Player of the Week
Jemma Woods, New Hampshire – Sr., - Goalkeeper, Frimley, England
- Went 2-0 with a 1.50 GAA and 16 saves in two starts last week.
- Allowed one goal with seven stops in a win over Quinnipiac on Friday.
- Gave up two goals with nine saves to take down Boston University on Sunday.
- This is Woods’ fourth career #AEFH Defensive Player of the Week award.
Fans will once again be able to watch nearly every #AEFH contest this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV.
