The 2022 #AEFH season begins this weekend with all nine programs in action on Friday or Saturday, and four facing ranked opponents over those two days.

Defending #AEFH Champion Maine is ranked 22nd to the start the year and squares off on Saturday against No. 25 UMass at 1 p.m. on ESPN+. Their schedule doesn’t any easier as they face defending National Champion Northwestern a day later in a neutral site contest at 1 p.m.
2021 America East Goalkeeper of the Year Mia Borley will have her hands full in the cage while Poppy Lambert looks to supply the offense after ranking second in the conference last year with 17 goals.
UAlbany was picked second in the preseason poll and hosts Northeastern on Saturday before facing No. 22 Ohio State on Sunday. Stanford was selected third and hosts Holy Cross and No. 4 Maryland over the weekend. Vermont takes on No. 10 Syracuse on Saturday, the final top-ten opponent for America East schools over the weekend.
Fans will once again be able to watch nearly every #AEFH contest this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.
