Giordano's Walk-Off Gives Stony Brook Share of Regular-Season Title

BOSTON – A dramatic conclusion to the baseball regular season sets up what is sure to be a competitive championship this week.

Saturday’s action included Stony Brook clinching a share of its third consecutive regular season crown via a walk-off in the tenth inning. That same day also featured Hartford clinching the final postseason bid by completing a sweep of Maine. The Hawks are the only #AEBASE team this season to bring the brooms to the Black Bears.

The Binghamton Bearcats, meanwhile, took two of three from UMBC and earned the No. 2 seed in the tournament. For complete information on this week’s tournament visit #AEBASE Championship Central.

The preseason poll was announced on Feb. 4.
