BOSTON – New Hampshire hosted the Wildcats Invitational to open the program’s outdoor track and field season last weekend.
Several Wildcats also competed in Colonial Relays along with a handful of student-athletes from other America East institutions. UAlbany performed well in a number of events at the UConn Dog Fight.

#AETF Weekly Award Winners – April 6
Female Track Performer of the Week
Dee Denis, UAlbany – Sr., Sprints/Hurdles, Hartford, Conn.
- Won the 100-meter hurdles at UConn in 14.30.
- Also placed second in the 400m hurdles with a conference-best 1:00.74 time.
- This is Denis’s first Performer of the Week award in 2021-22.
Male Track Performer of the Week
Marty Dolan, Binghamton – Jr., Distance, Niskayuna, N.Y.
- Posted a winning time of 9:08.79 in the 3,000m steeplechase at William & Mary Colonial Relays.
- Dolan’s time is top-three in the conference this season.
- He is the second consecutive Track Performer of the Week from Binghamton.
Female Field Performer of the Week
Leann Nicholas, UAlbany – Fr., Jumps, Farmingdale, N.Y.
- Won the triple jump at the UConn Dog Fight.
- Her 41’0.5” leap ranks first among America East competitors.
- This is her second career #AETF honor after earning one during indoor season.
Male Field Performer of the Week
James Kotowski, UMass Lowell – Fr., Javelin
- Claimed second in the javelin at Colonial Relays.
- Kotowski’s 216’2” throw broke the UMass Lowell record and ranks atop the #AETF leaderboard.
- This is his first career Performer of the Week award.
