For the first time, the #AEMLAX Championship is headed to Vermont's Virtue Field and it'll be Binghamton, UMBC and UAlbany making the trip to Burlington. The seeds and matchups for the 2022 America East Men's Lacrosse Championship, which takes place May 5 7, were sewed up on Friday evening. Vermont had already secured the top seed and locked up its first-ever outright regular-season crown on Saturday.
The final seeds for the 2022 #AEMLAX Championship are:
- Vermont
- Binghamton
- UMBC
- UAlbany
With its win over NJIT on Friday, UMBC clinched the No. 3 seed, which make UAlbany No. 4. Binghamton had already secured the No. 2 spot, it's best since 2014.
Binghamton will take on UMBC in the first semifinal on Thursday, May 5 at 4 p.m. with Vermont battling UAlbany in the second semifinal at 7 p.m.
The semifinal winners will go head-to-head for the 2022 conference championship on Saturday at 12 p.m. The game will be national televised on ESPNU.
