BOSTON – UMass Lowell won its second series in a row and the River Hawks have now gotten the better of three league opponents.
Maine procured the lone series sweep last weekend and, as a result, the Black Bears have won five-straight games. The top-two teams in Division A will go head-to-head this weekend in Orono in the first of two divisional matchups. Binghamton rallied to take two of three from Stony Brook last weekend while NJIT won twice against UMBC. The Bearcats will visit the Highlanders with game one scheduled for Friday.
The preseason poll was announced on Feb. 4.
