BOSTON – Conference play starts this weekend in baseball with four series on tap for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Stony Brook hosts UMass Lowell, Binghamton hosts Maine, UMBC hosts UAlbany and Hartford will visit. NJIT. All games will be streamed on AETV.
The preseason poll was announced on Feb. 4.
Fans will once again be able to watch the majority of #AEBASE this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.

- Scored seven runs and drove in four.
- Malm has earned Player of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks.
Pitcher of the Week
LJ Keevan, UMass Lowell – Fr., LHP, Holden, Mass.
- Tossed six innings, allowing one earned run in win over Charleston.
- Vurpillat struck out seven without allowing a walk.
- This is his first career weekly honor.
Rookie of the Week
Caleb Leys, Maine – Fr., RHP, Middletown, R.I.
- Struck out seven in four shutout innings in start against North Dakota State.
- Struck out seven and allowed two hits.
- This is his first career #AEBASE weekly honor.
