Metzler Set for NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. - University of New Hampshire senior Anna Metzler has qualified for NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships for a third straight year. 

She will open racing on Thursday, March 17 in the 200 IM. On Friday, March 18, Metzler will swim in her signature event, the 400 IM, where she ranks 21 out of 38 student-athletes that have qualified with a time of 4:08.21. She will also compete in her final event of the weekend on Saturday, March 19 in the 200 back, as she qualified for the "B" cut at the America East Championships at WPI with a time of 1:56.41. The prelims are scheduled for 10 a.m. each day and the finals begin at 6 p.m. that same evening
 
Metzler helped the Wildcats to their third straight America East Championship last month, which was their league-record 10th championship in school history for the Wildcats. She won the 200 IM and 200 butterfly at the 2022 #AESD Championships while also earning All-Conference honors in the 200 backstroke.

The entire four-day championship at Georgia Tech will be streamed on ESPN3 on the ESPN app.
