BOSTON – The America East Indoor Track and Field Championships are back at Boston University Friday! The two-day event will be streamed live on AmericaEast.tv and begins with the men’s weight throw at 10 a.m. Friday.
UAlbany enters as defending champions in both men’s and women’s competition but it was the Binghamton women’s indoor team that was ranked as high as No. 17 in the national rankings this season. The Bearcats are led by Emily Mackay, who holds the fastest times in the mile and 1500m of any runner in the country this season.
Jan Michael Gutierrez Almedina is back for a grad year with the Great Danes and is the current record-holder in the 200-meter dash.
Here are some top performers to watch:

The Great Danes have won eight consecutive women’s titles, dating back to 2012. The men have won two-straight and 14 of the last 15 championships.
