BOSTON – Emily Mackay continues to make headlines as the speedy distance runner ran two of the nation’s fastest times last weekend at Boston University.

#AETF Weekly Award Winners – Feb. 15
Female Track Performer of the Week
Emily Mackay, Binghamton – Sr., Distance, Endicott, N.Y.
- Shaved two seconds off her fastest mile time and now 4:30.94 is the top time in the country.
- Against mostly professional runners, Mackay also ran Division I’s top time in the 1,500m.
- This is her league-high fourth weekly award of the season – all of which have come in the last five weeks.
Male Track Performer of the Week
Noah Bellomo, UMass Lowell – Gr., Distance, Hudson, N.H.
- Bellomo ran the 13th-fastest 1,000m in the country at the David Hemery Valentine Invite.
- He ran the event in 2:22.05 to claim fifth place behind four pro runners.
- This is his first Performer of the Week award this season.
Female Field Performer of the Week
Shannon Bailey, UAlbany – Jr., High Jump, Meadowbrook Estate, Jamaica
- Placed second in the high jump at Fastrack National Invite.
- Bailey’s 5’6” clearance ranks second in #AETF.
- This is her first career #AETF honor.
Male Field Performer of the Week
Marcus McFadden, UAlbany – Jr., Jumps, Rochester, N.Y.
- Won the long jump at Fastrack National Invite.
- McFadden leaped 22’11”.
- This is the first Performer of the Week nod of his career.
