BOSTON – Week #2 of the #AEHoops season saw Maine burst onto the scene with a pair of impressive wins. The Black Bears posted victories at Boston College and vs. Columbia. Bryant, UMass Lowell and UMBC also came away with wins vs. Division I opponents.

Fans will once again be able to watch every #AEHoops game this season regardless of where they live!. The majority games will air on The AE on ESPN, either ESPN+ or ESPN3, in the United States. Games will also be available internationally on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.
The men’s #AEHoops preseason poll was announced on Oct. 20.

Player of the Week
Kellen Tynes, Maine - So., Guard, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
- Averaged 19.0 oints, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals in a 2-0 week for Maine.
- The Montana State transfer started his week with a double-double of 17 points and 10 boards plus added five assists in the Black Bears' win at Boston College on Monday.
- He then added a season-high 21 points plus four steams in Maine's win over Columbia on Saturday.
- For the week, Tynes shot 57 percent (16-for-28) from the floor.
- Shot 56 percent from the floor (15-of-27).
- This is Tynes' first career #AEHoops Player of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Jaden Clayton, Maine - Fr., Guard, Whitby, Canada
- Contributed 11.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in a 2-0 week for Maine.
- Had a career-high 16 points to go with seven assists in Maine's win over Columbia Saturday.
- Contributed six points and four boards in the the win over Boston College.
- This is Clayton's first career #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor.
