BOSTON – No. 22 Maine outlasted UMass Lowell in its lone conference matchup of the week to take over first place and remain unbeaten in conference play while No. 21 UAlbany, California and UNH also earned America East victories.
The Black Bears have won seven straight after their 13-0 win over Merrimack on Sunday, while UAlbany took down No. 16 Boston College 4-3. This week Maine plays Cal at 3 p.m. on Friday in Orono. The Great Danes host Stanford & UC Davis as they seek to improve to 4-1 in conference play. Friday also features a matchup between UMass Lowell and Vermont, who both come in with matching 3-1 conference records.

Tasmin Cookman, New Hampshire – Fr., Midfield, Woking, England
- Totaled five goals and two assists for 12 points in a pair of UNH wins.
- Scored three goals with one assist in a 5-2 win over Dartmouth.
- Posted two goals and one assist in a 5-0 win against Bryant.
- This is Cookman’s second #AEFH Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Defensive Player of the Week
Mia Borley, Maine – Sr., Goalkeeper, Durham, England
- Went 2-0 with one shutout and made seven saves without allowing a goal.
- Recorded six saves and faced 13 shots total in Maine’s 1-0 victory over UMass Lowell.
- Totaled one save in 30 minutes against Merrimack as Maine earned the win.
- This is Borley’s third #AEFH Defensive Player of the Week honor this year.
