Binghamton Paces 2022 #AEWSOC All-Conference, All-Rookie & All-Academic Selections

BOSTON — With the 2022 America East Women’s Soccer Championship set to begin on Sunday, the conference announced its All-Conference, All-Rookie and All-Academic teams on Friday afternoon.
 
Players from all nine #AEWSOC programs were honored, led by a league-best four first-team selections from regular-season champion Binghamton the top seed for the championship. UMass Lowell add three-first team honorees.

The All-Conference & All-Rookie teams, were determined in a vote by the league's head coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own players. The All-Academic team was voted on by a committee of administrators from the conference’s member institutions.

Fifty-two of the honorees will compete in the 2022 #AEWSOC Championship, which gets underway with quarterfinal action Sunday, Oct. 30. #4 UMass Lowell hosts #5 UAlbany at 4 p.m. and #3 Maine entertains #6 NJIT at 5 p.m. The winner of UMass Lowell-UAlbany will visit #1 Binghamton in the semifinals on Nov. 3 and the Maine-NJIT winner will square off against #2 New Hampshire in Durham. Both matches start at 6 p.m. The semifinal winners will face off for the 2022 conference title at the higher remaining seed on Sunday, Nov. 7.
