#AEMSOC Week 9: UMBC & UNH Earn Crucial Victories

BOSTON – UMBC ended the nation’s longest winning streak by scoring twice in the last eight minutes of regulation to take down No. 10 UVM and clinch a spot in the conference championship field. UNH, meanwhile, edged Binghamton 1-0 to take over first place in the conference standings with two games left.

The Wildcats travel up to Vermont and can clinch the regular season championship with a road victory on Friday night, while a draw could leave the door open for UVM to still claim the top seed. UMBC hosts an NJIT squad battling for its playoff life, while Binghamton can clinch a championship berth with a victory over Bryant on Friday. UMass Lowell also hosts UAlbany. All four contests will be on AmericaEast.tv.
