#AEWSOC Week 10: Lots Left to Decide in Final Week

BOSTON – Only one week remains in the women's soccer regular-season and while five teams have clinched bids, lots left remains to be decided with four teams in consideration for a share of the regular-season title and three squads in contention for the final tournament bid.
 
The final regular-season games take play this Thursday, Oct. 27 with four games. The top six teams in the final #AEWSOC standings will qualify for this year’s America East Women’s Soccer Championship. Championship Central
 2022 #AEWSOC Weekly Award Winners – Oct. 24
Offensive Player of the Week
Olivia McKnight, Binghamton - Sr., Midfielder, Apalachin, N.Y.
  • Scored three goals in Binghamton's key win over UMass Lowell.
  • This is McKnight's first #AEWSOC Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season and second of her career (4/6/21).
Defensive Player of the Week
Myla Schneider, Maine - So., Back, Calgary, Alb.
  • Led a defensive unit that allowed only two shots in a 1-0 win over Bryant.
  • This is Schneider's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of her career.
Rookie of the Week
Riley Jones, NJIT – Fr., Defender/Midfielder, Clinton, N.Y.
  • Scored a clutch goal in NJIT's win over Vermont that kept its championship hopes alive.
  • This is Jones’ second-career #AEWSOC Rookie of the Week honor.
