  • NJIT seeks its first 2-0 start in conference play since 2012-13.
  • Miles Coleman scored a career-high 23 points to lead the Highlanders to a 69-66 win over Maine in both teams’ league opener on Sunday.

  • The top two America East teams in NCAA NET square off on ESPNU tonight (Vermont 102, UNH 168).
  • The two teams are the top two defensive teams in the conference with Vermont allowing a league-low 60.1 ppg and UNH just behind in second at 62.2 points allowed per contest.
  • The Wildcats have been idle since Dec. 13 while the Catamounts haven’t played since Dec. 22 and have won three of their last four.
  • UNH’s Jayden Martinez is the conference’s leading scorer (17.6 ppg) while Vermont’s Ryan Davis is third (16.9 ppg).

Binghamton at UAlbany, 7 p.m. – ESPN3
  • Binghamton held UMass Lowell to 37 percent shooting en route to a 68-63 win on Sunday, its first in a league opener since the 2018-19 season. Jacob Falko and Tyler Bertram each scored 20 points to pace the Bearcats.
  • UAlbany has been idle since Dec. 23 and is set for its league opener. The Great Danes won three of their last four non-conference games, including at Boston College on Dec. 13.
  • The Great Danes have won the last five games in the series.
