Men's Soccer 9/27/2021 1:00:00 PM #9 UNH Stays Perfect, Moves to 9-0, Earns #AEMSOC Honors BOSTON – There are only four men's soccer teams in the country that still have a perfect record and New Hampshire is one of them. The ninth-ranked Wildcats won twice last week, including a 4-1 win over Hartford in league play on Saturday, to improve to 9-0. Elsewhere last weekend, Binghamton won its conference opener, 1-0 over Stony Brook while UMass Lowell downed UMBC and UAlbany beat Stony Brook. Each team will play an eight-game schedule in the single round robin format. The top six teams in the conference standings based on points percentage will qualify for the 2021 America East men's soccer championship. Four more conference games take place on Saturday. Had two scores in a 5-0 win over Quinnipiac on Tuesday and scored once in Saturday's 4-1 victory at Hartford. This is his first career Offensive Player of the Week honor. Defensive Player of the Week Bridger Hansen, New Hampshire - Sr., Defender, Denver, Colo. Led a UNH defense that allowed only seven total shots in two wins. Also scored a goal in the win vs. Hartford. This is his first career Defensive Player of the Week honor. Rookie of the Week Adrian Schulze Solano, Vermont - Fr., Defender, Germany Scored his first career goal vs. Siena on Tuesday.
