BOSTON – Three teams enter conference play with winning streaks of two or more games as the league slate is set to begin Friday.
No. 20 Monmouth will travel to Maine for a battle between 2020-21 co-regular season champions. Each team has been nationally ranked at some point this fall. League action will take place Friday and Sunday this week.
The preseason poll was released Aug. 11.
Fans will once again be able to watch the majority of #AEFH this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.

Offensive Player of the Week
Jenna Berger, UMass Lowell – Sr. Midfielder, Waterloo, Ontario
- Scored both goals in UMass Lowell win over Wagner.
- Berger’s game-winning tally came in the 38th minute.
- This is her first career Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Defensive Player of the Week
Ally Tarantino, Monmouth – Sr., Goalkeeper, Miller Place, N.Y.
- Recorded five-save shutout against Providence.
- Allowed just one goal to No. 10 Rutgers.
- This is Tarantino’s second Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.
Rookie of the Week
Lorane Vanneste, Monmouth – Fr., Forward, Antwerp, Belgium
- Had a two-goal week, scoring in each of Monmouth’s two games.
- Converted on lone shot against Providence.
- This is her second career #AEFH award.
