BOSTON – Four #AEVB programs earned a pair of victories last week. New Hampshire swept Holy Cross while Binghamton, UMBC and Stony Brook all won two matches.
23 non-conference matches appear on the schedule for the third week of the season, starting Tuesday evening as Stony Brook hosts St. John’s on AmericaEast.tv and NJIT travels to Fairleigh Dickinson.
The preseason poll was released on Aug. 12.
Fans will once again be able to watch the majority of #AEVB this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.

#AEVB Weekly Award Winners – Sept. 14
Player of the Week
Leoni Kunz, Stony Brook – So., Outside Hitter, Knoxville, Tenn.
- Totaled 51 kills while hitting .262 in four matches.
- Kunz also compiled 36 digs last week.
- This is her first career weekly honor.
Setter of the Week
Wren Macaulay, New Hampshire – Jr., Setter, Lake Orion, Mich.
- Compiled 143 assists in four matches for the Wildcats.
- 87 of her assists came in the two wins over Holy Cross.
- This is Macaulay’s second consecutive Setter of the Week award.
Defensive Specialist of the Week
Loren Teter, UMBC – Gr., Libero, Redondo Beach, Calif.
- Recorded 72 digs, capped by 28 in three-set victory over Howard.
- Had 14 digs and six assists in the Retrievers' win over Quinnipiac.
- This is her second Defensive Specialist of the Week honor this season and third of her career.
Rookie of the Week
Camryn Luginbuhl, Hartford – Fr., Outside Hitter, Tolland, Conn.
- Hit .340 for 54 points on 51 kills.
- Also totaled 23 digs in three matches.
- Luginbuhl has been named Rookie of the Week every week this season.
