BOSTON – America East Commissioner Amy Huchthausen announced today the hiring of Sierra Whitlock as the conference’s Assistant Director for Championships & Operations. Whitlock has joined the conference staff to start her role at America East beginning today, May 17.
“Sierra stood out within an impressive candidate pool and established herself as a fit for our staff during the interview process by conveying her applicable skill sets, an understanding of our core competencies and a passion for college athletics,” said Huchthausen. “She will be a great addition to our staff as we focus on continuing to provide exceptional service to our member institutions while we wrap up a challenging year and prepare for an exciting 2021-22.”

“I am so excited to join a staff that prioritizes the development of the complete student-athlete,” said Whitlock. “I can't wait to contribute to the most exciting and memorable parts of the student-athlete experience. I am additionally excited to continue to grow as a young professional and I'm confident the America East Conference office will be a space to foster that growth.”
