UMass Lowell Clinches #AEWSOC Postseason Spot Before Final Regular Season Weekend

BOSTON – Entering the final week of the regular season, three postseason bids remain up for grabs. UMass Lowell (4-0, 1.000) won Division A with its 4-0 win over UMBC to remain unbeaten in league play.

The River Hawks can secure the regular-season title and top overall seed for the championship with a win or tie vs. Vermont on Saturday. New Hampshire (2-2, .500) or Vermont (1-2-1, .333) will earn the second playoff spot out of the division.

In Division B, three teams remain alive for the two bids. UAlbany handed Stony Brook its first league loss of the season which closed the gap in the Division B standings. Stony Brook (4-1, .800) remains on top followed closely by Binghamton (3-1, .750), UAlbany (3-2, .600).

The teams with the top two points percentages in each group will qualify for the spring 2021 #AEWSOC Championship to be played at the top overall seed on April 15-17.
