Stony Brook Sweeps Second #AEBASE Series; Maine's Sinacola Earns Third Weekly Honor

BOSTON – In a week that featured pitching gems aplenty, Stony Brook swept Hartford and improved to 8-0 in conference play. The Seawolves are the first #AEBASE team to have a perfect start to their first eight league games since the 2012 Maine Black Bears.

Six pitchers have tossed seven shutout innings over the course of the last three days. Four of those performances came on Friday. Aces will be back on the bump Saturday as four doubleheaders are scheduled on AETV.

Fans will once again be able to watch a number of #AEBASE games this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.
