Zanolli Repeats Among First-Time #AEFH Award Recipients

BOSTON – Five programs earned major field hockey awards on Wednesday as the conference revealed the Spring 2021 All-Conference, All-Rookie and All-Academic teams.

Stanford senior Corinne Zanolli headlined the major awards with her third Offensive Player of the Year honor. Maine senior Hana Davis was named Midfielder of the Year and Monmouth senior Ireen Frenken was named Defensive Player of the Year. A pair of freshmen also garnered awards as UMass Lowell’s Eleonore Boekhorst and California’s Kiki de Bruijne were named Goalkeeper of the Year and Rookie of the Year, respectively. Co-regular season champions Monmouth and Maine each earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

The award winners were determined in a vote by the league's head coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
