Howard, Walters Named Most Outstanding Divers

VESTAL, N.Y. – Binghamton continued its impressive performance on the diving boards on Sunday, collecting the majority of the hardware over the course of the weekend.
 
Sophia Howard won gold in the one-meter dives with a score of 266.35. The Binghamton senior became is the second Bearcat to be named Most Outstanding Diver. Vermont senior Emily Murphy won the silver medal and Maine senior PhilAnn Dixon earned her second medal of the weekend, placing third. All three student-athletes earned All-Conference recognition.
 
Binghamton senior David Walters earned his second Most Outstanding Diver award of his career after sweeping both dives. The Bearcats swept the men’s three-meter diving as Walters, Erik Temple and Ryan Cohn and took the top-three spots on the podium. The trio earned All-Conference honors.
