BOSTON – Hartford made its spring 2021 season debut last week and started the season in style with a 2-0 win at UAlbany. In the only other conference game, Stony Brook and UMBC played to a scoreless draw.
UNH scored a 4-2 non-conference win over Northeastern to improve to 2-0-0. The Wildcats entered the United Soccer Coaches national rankings at #18 last week.
The preseason poll and season details were announced on Feb. 10.
Fans will once again be able to watch the majority of #AEMSOC this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Dario Cavada – Fr., Forward, Santona, Cantabria
- Had a goal and an assist to the lead the Hawks to a season-opening 2-0 win at UAlbany.
- This is Cavada’s first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
Defensive Player & Rookie of the Week
Rotem Fatida – Fr., Goalkeeper, Haifa, Israel
- Made six saves in a shutout win over UAlbany, his collegiate debut.
- This is Fatida’s first career Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week honors.
